Llegaron a meta 491 corredores sobre los 530 inscritos, manteniendo as\u00ed cifras similares de participaci\u00f3n a ediciones anteriores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El gran beneficiado de esta cuadrag\u00e9simo segunda prueba del Circuito Provincial fue Pedro Amores (Club de Atletismo Albacete-Diputaci\u00f3n), que acab\u00f3 tercero en Ossa de Montiel y gracias a los puntos sumados alcanza el primer puesto en la clasificaci\u00f3n general, adelantando en un punto a Juan Carlos Hern\u00e1ndez, l\u00edder hasta el domingo, que acab\u00f3 en la sexta posici\u00f3n en esta carrera. En cualquier caso, la lucha sigue abierta pues s\u00f3lo un punto separa a ambos corredores y Diego L\u00f3pez (Club de Atletismo Chinchilla) viene apretando por detr\u00e1s y se pone a tiro de piedra de ambos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El vencedor en Ossa de Montiel realiz\u00f3 una marca bastante digna (34:07) si tenemos en cuenta el fuerte viento reinante en gran parte del recorrido, especialmente en los primeros cuatro kil\u00f3metros, donde los atletas lo tuvieron totalmente de cara y se vieron obligados a realizar en esfuerzo extra. El ritmo de Gregorio D\u00edaz (3:25 minutos el kil\u00f3metro) es de alabar en estas circunstancias. Curiosamente, de los tres hombres que subieron al podium, dos de ellos eran de Ri\u00f3par, Gregorio D\u00edaz y Pedro Amores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En categor\u00eda femenina no hubo demasiada lucha. Las grandes favoritas del Circuito Provincial no acudieron a esta prueba y el terreno qued\u00f3 allanado para las atletas de Ciudad Real, donde Patricia S\u00e1ez (Valdepe\u00f1as) y Cristina Izarra (Manzanares) se alzaron con los dos primeros puestos, acompa\u00f1adas en el podium por Nuria Garc\u00eda (Madrigueras). La marca de la vencedora (40:42) fue exactamente un segundo m\u00e1s lenta que la vencedora del a\u00f1o pasado, la toledana Eugenia Andras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El equipo m\u00e1s numeroso fue el Don Quijote Albacete, con 27 atletas en el arco de meta, por delante del Grego Racing Team de Ri\u00f3par (21), Hell\u00edn (17), Manchathon (15), Albacete-Diputaci\u00f3n (15), Chinchilla (15) y Tarazona (14). Gran m\u00e9rito el de los fondistas de Tarazona, que acudieron en buen n\u00famero a Ossa de Montiel despu\u00e9s de haber participado durante toda la semana en el reto \u201c48 pueblos unidos por 1.000 kil\u00f3metros\u201d, una aventura que les ha llevado a conectar, corriendo a pie por relevos, las 48 localidades que componen el Circuito Provincial de Carreras Populares.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hubo un reconocimiento especial para los atletas m\u00e1s veteranos, Custodia Casas y el caudetano Pepe Llorens, que a sus 77 a\u00f1os cumplidos contin\u00faa dando guerra y ofreciendo buenas marcas. Llorens es, adem\u00e1s, uno de los siete atletas que han completado las 42 carreras celebradas hasta el momento junto a Jos\u00e9 Andr\u00e9s Checa (San Clemente), Abel Romero (Pozo Ca\u00f1ada), Emilio Leal (Madrigueras), Dami\u00e1n Valverde (Independiente), Juan Miguel Rodr\u00edguez (Villamalea) y Francisco S\u00e1nchez Cabrera (Albacete-Diputaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pr\u00f3xima cita en F\u00e9rez<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El pr\u00f3ximo domingo, a partir de las 10:00 horas, se celebrar\u00e1 la III Carrera Popular de F\u00e9rez, prueba de 10.000 metros de recorrido puntuable para el XV Circuito Provincial de Carreras Populares que organiza la Diputaci\u00f3n de Albacete.
